Dance CLub Promotional Material

So... January.

I didn't realize I had to post this to the blog to qualify, so it's late, sorry. My entry for this month is very bad. XD I figured I'd do the competition at 11secondclub.com, but then I got busy with other arts and didn't leave myself enough time to allow for my own inexperience (and the fact that I always pick stupidly huge projects.. XD)

Just so you know, doing any sort of interesting rendering inside Zbrush is pretty much pointless if you base your material shader off of one of their fancy ones- these special shaders don't accept any sort of lighting changes.

a request

I was wondering if you guys would want to help me with some promotional crap for Dance Club. My goal is to make some little flyer things that are one half of a page, vertically split, that are really tacky and full or rainbows. I really want them to be offensive, nonsensical, and politically correct enough to distribute to hip coffee shops in Seattle. I'm going to make some myself, but I thought it might be a fun thing to design. I'm aiming for tacky rave poster meets several punchlines to jokes about furries.

January Progress

Progress on the zbrush sculpt I wanna do for the January bet. Started off with the basic male head and deformed the crap out of it. The ears are currently giving me shit so I might have to try again with a custom head.
